COUNSELING, COMMUNICATION AND PARTNERSHIP IN SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION

Abstract

Introduction. The modern development of society is accompanied by a number of social challenges that require strengthening the system of socio-psychological support for the population. The growing number of people who have experienced crisis and traumatic events, including the consequences of military actions, forced displacement, and the loss of social ties, necessitates the improvement of approaches to socio-psychological rehabilitation. Socio-psychological rehabilitation is considered a comprehensive process aimed at restoring a person’s internal resources, overcoming the consequences of traumatic experiences, and renewing their ability to function fully in society. An important role in this process is played by counseling, professional communication, and partnership interaction between the subjects of social assistance. Purpose and objectives of the article. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the role of counseling, communication, and partnership in socio-psychological rehabilitation and to determine their importance for improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation assistance. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the theoretical substantiation of the interrelation between counseling, communication, and partnership as integrated components of socio-psychological rehabilitation. The study clarifies the significance of counseling in the rehabilitation process, determines the role of professional communication in building trust and ensuring the client’s psychological safety, and reveals the importance of intersectoral partnership in ensuring the comprehensiveness and continuity of rehabilitation assistance. The scientific understanding of integrating a multidisciplinary approach into the system of socio-psychological rehabilitation has been further developed. Results. Socio-psychological rehabilitation is an important area of social assistance aimed at restoring psychological well-being, social activity, and the adaptive capabilities of individuals who have experienced crisis or traumatic events. In modern conditions of increasing social challenges, improving approaches to the organization of rehabilitation assistance becomes especially important. The study has shown that counseling, professional communication, and partnership interaction are essential components of effective socio-psychological rehabilitation. Counseling helps individuals understand their problematic situations and activate their internal resources, while effective communication contributes to building trust and ensuring psychological safety in the interaction between the specialist and the client.
