Abstract

The article substantiates the technological architecture of adaptive enterprise management in an unstable business environment. The study argues that digital technologies generate managerial value not through their mere implementation, but through their ability to reduce the time lag between environmental change, analytical interpretation, managerial choice, coordinated execution and organizational learning. The article proposes to consider technological support for adaptive management as an integrated configuration of data-integration, analytical, predictive and procedural components that together form a complete cycle of managerial response. The paper summarizes recent international and Ukrainian research on digital transformation, business intelligence, dynamic capabilities, organizational resilience and Industry 5.0. It is shown that the main problem of modern enterprises is not the lack of digital tools, but the fragmented mode of their use, insufficient data quality, weak cross-functional coordination and the absence of a procedural link between an analytical signal and a managerial decision. The article develops a matrix that explains the transition from digital equipment to adaptive capability. Drawing on KPMG Ukraine and Forbes Ukraine data, the paper shows that digitalization has already become part of the strategic vision of most Ukrainian companies, while its effectiveness depends on firms’ ability to monitor the effects of implemented technologies, develop internal digital solutions and embed data into decision-making routines. The article substantiates that adaptive management should not be based on a universal technological template. Instead, the technological configuration of an enterprise must correspond to its dominant instability profile, whether related to demand volatility, supply chain disruption, production deviations, financial pressure, energy constraints or changes in customer behavior. The results emphasize that the future development of adaptive management requires a shift from technological modernization as an isolated goal to the design of managerial systems capable of sensing, interpreting and responding to instability before deviations turn into losses.
