FEATURES OF DISTANCE LEARNING OF UKRAINIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES BY HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF INCLUSION

Abstract

The article examines the features of distance learning of Ukrainian and English by higher education students in inclusive settings. Modern conditions of social development require a review of the means and approaches to learning, in particular the distance form of education, which has become widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The conditions of inclusion, which provide for the creation of equal opportunities for people with different characteristics, require additional attention to the organization of the educational process. In the process of learning languages, such as Ukrainian and English, it is important to take into account the individual needs of each student, ensuring the accessibility and effectiveness of the educational process. The article examines the specifics of the methodology for introducing and implementing the principles of distance learning in Ukrainian and English language classes and highlights some educational strategies that should be used in working with students with special educational needs under certain conditions of the student’s absence from the classroom in order to ensure maximum social, cognitive, linguistic and emotional development of the individual. The methodology of learning Ukrainian and English languages by integrating traditional and distance learning in higher education institutions will require the development and improvement of new content and structure for the implementation of independent learning for students with special educational needs through the use of information and communication technologies under the guidance of a teacher. The article focuses on the advantages and challenges of such learning for students with special educational needs. The possibilities of using modern technologies, adapting educational materials and implementing individual learning trajectories are analyzed. Recommendations are proposed for increasing the effectiveness of language learning, taking into account the needs of an inclusive environment. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating innovative approaches to ensure access to quality education and creating a comfortable learning environment for all applicants.
