DIGITAL BANKING SERVICES: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

Introduction. The banking sector has been developing for many years, as banks perform important functions for servicing the economy and the population. Previously, it was necessary to visit a bank physically to obtain banking services, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. Today, the digitalization of banking activities has allowed to solve this problem. Purpose: to analyze modern trends and prospects for the development of digital banking services. Methods: literary, statistical, analysis and synthesis, comparison. Results. The development of digital technologies has led to the emergence of services such as card banking, internet banking. These services allow customers to receive banking services remotely, without visiting bank branches. Card banking allows you to transfer funds instantly, without the need to prepare a payment order. Internet banking and mobile banking allow you to open deposits, apply for loans, make payments, generate reports and statements. In addition, digital technologies allow banks to integrate with mobile applications of electronic government, which gives customers the ability to exchange documents and apply electronic methods of signing papers and identification. Digital banking services are services provided by banks using computer technologies. They include a wide range of services such as account management, payments, lending, investment and insurance products. It offers a number of advantages for customers, banks and the financial sector as a whole. For customers, digital banking offers greater convenience and accessibility. Customers can access banking services anywhere and anytime in real time. They do not need to visit a bank physically, which saves them time and effort. For banks, digital banking can lead to cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Banks can automate customer service processes, which allows them to free up resources for other purposes. For the financial sector as a whole, digital banking can contribute to increased competitiveness and innovation. Banks that implement digital technologies gain competitive advantages over banks that do not use these technologies. Conclusion. Digital banking is a fast-growing industry that has a number of benefits for customers, banks and society at large. The main trends in the development of the Central Bank are the transition to personalization, the growing popularity of mobile wallets, the development of open APIs, biometric identification, integration with e-commerce services, P2P payments. The analyzed trends indicate that CBP will continue to develop, improve and become more and more important in modern life conditions.
