THE SEQUENCE OF IDENTIFYING DOMINANTS OF ECONOMY`S DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT

Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of a relevant problem of the study of existing trends and the identification of digital development dominants. It is established that the rapid growth of digital technologies contributes to their transformation into a strategic resource for increasing the competitiveness of states, regions and enterprises. It is proved that the study of digital development and its dominants acquires special importance. Purpose. The main purpose of the article is to develop a sequence for determining the digital development dominants in the Ukrainian economy. Methods. The study is based on the analysis of scientific works of leading scientists devoted to the study of digital development, processes of digitalization and digital transformation. The use of comparative analys allowed analyzing the main directions and features of the study of the digital economy and digital development. The feasibility of using a hypothetical-deductive approach to identify the digital development dominants, which involves the use of a wide range of general scientific and special methods, is substantiated. Among such methods are methods of goal-setting, data collection and systematization, quantitative and qualitative data processing, statistical analysis, trend analysis and hypothesizing. Results. It has been established that scientists associate digitalization, digital transformation and development with new opportunities for socio-economic systems. These processes create conditions for improving infrastructure, the emergence of new business models, the formation and strengthening of competitive advantages, the efficiency of resource use increasing, the sustainable development ensuring, etc. The author's vision of the essence of the concept of digital development dominants is given. The sequence of identifying the dominants of digital development of the economy based on a hypothetical-deductive approach consisting of preparatory, search-analytical and versification stages is proposed. Conclusion. The proposed approach to identifying the dominants of digital development of the economy allows to identify a wide range of digital development dominants. In the future, it is advisable to establish the reasons for the deployment of these trends, the characteristics of the economy, the formation of which they contribute to.
