FORMATION OF THE MECHANISM FOR INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN ODESA REGION

Abstract

The article examines current issues related to the implementation of inclusivity approaches for the country’s economic growth based on the agricultural sector, which is crucial for Ukraine. These approaches may impact the well-being of various social groups and provide equal opportunities for realizing existing potential. The study analyzes the state of the agricultural sector in Odesa region for the introduction of inclusivity principles and the prospects for their implementation based on available opportunities. The significance of agricultural sector development is substantiated, emphasizing the need for a critical analysis and the development of an appropriate mechanism that ensures broad public participation in economic growth and the distribution of its benefits. Based on the study of domestic and foreign experts, whose findings are presented at legislative, regulatory, and scientific levels, the requirements for applying inclusivity principles have been justified. The aim of the study is to substantiate the scientific and methodological foundations for the formation of an inclusive development mechanism for the agricultural sector, using Odesa region as a case study. The scientific novelty lies in identifying the advantages and opportunities of introducing inclusivity into the agricultural sector, the specifics of implementing inclusivity in the development of Odesa region’s agrarian sector, and constructing a mechanism for inclusive agricultural development. As a result of the study: Existing approaches to forming a mechanism for inclusive agricultural development have been improved. Unlike previous models, these approaches focus on introducing criteria within economic and social domains, specifically incorporating agricultural production indices, determining wages in Odesa region’s agricultural sector, and assessing labor resources, including internally displaced persons. The justification of innovative approaches to developing an inclusive agricultural sector mechanism has been further advanced. Unlike existing approaches, these rely on incorporating socio-economic principles while utilizing internal resources. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in expanding and deepening the existing understanding of the possibilities for forming a mechanism for inclusive agricultural development in Odesa region. These findings can be applied at the regional level to address socio-economic challenges.
