COMPETITIVENESS OF ENTERPRISES IN THE CONDITIONS OF MODERN CHALLENGES

Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of the competitiveness of the enterprise in the conditions of modern challenges. The competitiveness of the enterprise on the market is the basis of ensuring its successful development. Ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise in challenging conditions requires the analysis of competitors' actions, consumer needs, the development of a plan of measures to strengthen market positions, the search for new resources and opportunities, and the implementation of innovative methods and approaches. These questions are relevant and require scientific knowledge. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to reveal the concept of enterprise competitiveness, to study the factors of its competitive advantages, to determine the tools for ensuring the enterprise's competitiveness and to clarify the importance of strategizing in achieving the competitive advantages of enterprises in the conditions of modern challenges. Methods. The methodological basis of the research is such methods as observation, induction, deduction, system analysis, synthesis and generalization. The study is based on the analysis of factors and tools for ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise in challenging conditions. Results. The essence of the concept of "enterprise competitiveness" and its main characteristics have been clarified. The factors that affect the achievement of competitive advantages of the enterprise in the market environment are determined. The impact of such challenges as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion on business competitiveness in Ukraine is analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the need for the enterprise to achieve competitive advantages in conditions of instability. Conclusion. Summarizing the results of the research, it should be noted that the competitiveness of the enterprise is a guarantee of its further success, progressive development and securing leading positions in the market. Considered the importance of the direct impact of competitiveness on the development prospects of the enterprise and its positioning among competitors. The essence of strategizing and its role in the formation of the company's competitive strategies are revealed. Tools for strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises in difficult economic conditions are defined.
