EDUCATIONAL APPROACHES TO DEVELOPING SOCIAL PROJECT DESIGN SKILLS IN FUTURE SOCIAL WORKERS: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Abstract

Introduction. The article examines the integration of social entrepreneurship into the educational process of higher education institutions in Ukraine as a tool for developing practical skills in social project design among future social workers. Objective of the Study. To determine effective educational approaches to fostering competences in the fields of social entrepreneurship and social project design, drawing on both national and international experience. Scientific Novelty. The study addresses the need to expand professional training opportunities for specialists in the social sphere in response to contemporary economic and social challenges, particularly in the context of Ukraine’s post-war recovery. Recommendations are proposed for improving educational programmes in Ukrainian higher education institutions in order to prepare professionals capable of initiating and implementing social projects aimed at delivering sustainable, long-term change within society. Research Methods. The methodology includes a comparative analysis of international educational models, content analysis of scholarly works and legislative acts, as well as the case study method based on the examination of social entrepreneurship initiatives in Ukraine. Conclusions. The most effective learning models are university-based business incubators, dual education programmes, mentoring schemes, and online learning.
