Introduction. The ongoing war in Ukraine has created unprecedented conditions for the social, emotional, and psychological life of its citizens, especially for the younger generation – Generation Z. This age group, formed in the digital era, is currently undergoing profound personality transformations under the pressure of wartime realities. Youth who, until recently, were building their futures in a globalized and digitally comfortable environment, are now forced to adapt to new life challenges – loss, displacement, disruption of educational and professional trajectories. Under these conditions, personality formation occurs not only within the framework of traditional institutions of socialization but is also influenced by war-related trauma, emotional stress, patriotic uplift, and new forms of solidarity and self-organization. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of personality development among Generation Z in Ukraine under martial law, with a focus on socio-psychological changes, value reorientations, and the role of the digital environment in processes of adaptation, self-identification, and resilience. Scientific novelty. For the first time, an interdisciplinary perspective on youth personality development in the extreme conditions of modern warfare is presented. It is substantiated that the digital environment plays an ambivalent role – simultaneously serving as a tool of support and a source of frustration. It is determined that the formation of civic identity, new value orientations, increased subjectivity, and the activation of youth in volunteer, informational, and cultural initiatives are not only responses to crisis but also evidence of emerging new models of social adaptation for Generation Z. Conclusions. Generation Z in Ukraine demonstrates high adaptability, creativity, and the capacity for mobilization under threat. War accelerates the development of psychological resilience, reevaluation of core life values, and readiness for social engagement. To ensure the healthy personal development of youth, systemic support – educational, psychological, and social – is needed, with a focus on inclusiveness, digital literacy, and the cultivation of critical thinking.
