FAMILY CONFLICTS: PSYCHOLOGICAL CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND METHODS OF RESOLUTION

Introduction. Family conflicts are one of the most common forms of interpersonal interactions that arise in the process of living together. They can both contribute to the development of relationships through constructive resolution and become a source of psychological stress and destructive consequences for family members. The relevance of the problem is due to its impact on the quality of life, psychological health of family members and social stability. The study of this topic acquires particular importance in modern conditions of digitalization, social changes and economic instability. The purpose of the study is to identify the main psychological causes of family conflicts, analyze their consequences for family members and develop effective methods and means of overcoming them, aimed at harmonizing family relationships. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the comprehensive approach to the analysis of family conflicts, which includes consideration of their psychological causes, consequences and practical solutions. In particular, the influence of cognitive attitudes, emotional interaction and communicative models on the dynamics of conflicts has been investigated. The work also focuses on the impact of modern social and technological transformations on the nature of family disputes. Conclusions. The study has shown that the main psychological causes of family conflicts are a discrepancy in expectations, communication problems, emotional instability, role contradictions and intrapersonal conflicts. The consequences of conflicts include emotional exhaustion, communication disorders, reduced self-esteem and a negative impact on children, who may adopt destructive behavior patterns. Effective methods of conflict resolution are the development of communication skills, empathy, mediation and family therapy. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of recommendations for the prevention and harmonization of family relationships. Prospects for further research are related to the study of the impact of digitalization, socio-cultural factors and economic changes on the dynamics of family conflicts.
